Instead of throwing away books that have been taped, glued, and taped again...

Cut them apart and use them to make anchor charts! I created this anchor chart from a well-read copy of a Magic School Bus book.

Wendy McElhinny: I am a 4th grade teacher. I teach Literacy, Science, and Social Studies. This is my 26th year teaching. I am National Board certified as an Early Childhood/Generalist. I earned my Master's degree in Elementary Education. I am proud of my unique and interactive ideas that I share on this blog. Some ideas have come from many years of sharing with other teachers. I cannot take credit for all of these being original ideas, but all of them have been tweaked to fit the needs of my students.
